“Most Christians don’t know who they really are; if they do, they will cause trouble,” the man of God said.

While imploring the youths to always spiritually walk in the consciousness of who they really are in Christ, the prominent pastor narrated how he recently ‘dealt’ with an aged ogboni fraternity member who was trying to challenge his stand in Christ.

He said he challenged the Ogboni fraternity man to ‘keep quiet’ or ‘they will both see who will die the next day’.

The respected clergyman also revealed how he threatened the Lagos police commissioner who was absent from church service last Sunday, September 27.

He said he called the CP telling him on phone that he would “arrest” him for not coming to church. The CP however came to his hotel room later to plead with him for not coming to church that Sunday.

Speaking further to the youths about taking authority as true Christians, he noted that the mission (RCCG) is gradually taking its place in the political terrain of Nigeria.

He noted that the number 2 citizen of the country, Vice-president Yemi Osibajo is a pastor in the RCCG, the chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Tunde Fowler, is also a member of the church, while also adding that the present CP in Oyo state is an area pastor in the RCCG, as well as the Lagos state governor and his wife, who are prestigious members of the mission.

The youth convention is a week-long programme which started on Monday, September 28, and is billed to end Saturday, October 3.

Pastor Kalejaiye is one of the ministers of God who have spiritually fed and admonished the youths since the program me started.

Recall that Bisi Alimi, the Nigerian gay rights activist, recently lambasted the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor E A Adeboye over his purchase of a new private jet, claiming that the revered clergyman is an epitome of greed.
