Ojude Oba: Top 5 Stylish Groups At The Festival (PHOTOS)

The Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu land has come and gone, but the memories of the colorful ceremony still lingers.

The people of the famous town ensured visitors enjoyed every bit of their culture, processions and acrobatic displays.

The festival which holds annually two days after the Eid-El-Kabir festival is hosted by the paramount ruler of Ijebu land, His Royal Majesty, the Awujale  of the Ijebu Kingdom, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

The festival is reputed to be one of the biggest of its kind in West Africa as Ijebu indigenes and visitors from all over the world join in the celebrations every year.

The event which took place at the Dipo Dina International Stadium opposite the Oba’s palace, was filled with traditional dance, cultural displays and colourful attires of the participants.

As usual, all the groups and families goes round the venue acknowledging cheers from the people before mounting the podium to pay homage to Oba Adetona.
