#NigeriaAt55: Colourful Independence Day Celebrations Begins(Photos)

Ahead of the 55th Independence Day celebrations on October 1st, Nigerians have begin preparations for the big day.



Little celebrations has started on the streets of Lagos with thousands of patriotic Nigerians in colourful outfits.

On the 1st of October year 1960, Nigeria officially gained independence from the Britain and since then, the date has become the most celebrated day in the history of Nigeria.
