Drama As Masquerades Attack Church, Flog Pastors And Worshipers

Four masquerades reportedly disrupted a church service, in Epinmi Akoko area of Ondo state.

According to Vanguard report, the masquerades invade the Christ Apostolic Church in the town while the service was on-going and flogged the pastors and worshipers.

Two of the pastors were said to have sustained injuries during the invasion.

It was gathered that some of the church workers had tried to fight off the masquerades when they arrived at the church premises but they were overpowered.

While some of the worshipers fled, the masquerades took their time dealing with the pastors.

The matter was reported to the police, leading to the arrest of one of them identified as Tunde Arohunmolase, while others fled.

A member of the church and a former secretary to the pastor, Moses Sherima, said that he sent his wife to her village when he impregnated the maid.
