Mourinho Under Fire As Chelsea Players Expresses Rage Over Scapegoat Mindset

There are indications of a feasible argument between the Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho and some of his players, The Guardian reports.

This comes on the heels of an alleged discontent from some players over the scapegoat mentality of Coach Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has in recent times, slammed numerous club players in public following some poor displays.

There were also speculation of an on-going rift between him and captain of the side, John Terry, who has been relegated to the bench.

It is believed that Chelsea’s big stars are discontent with their bit part to play, likewise John Terry’s rare playing time.

Mourinho even launched a scathing public attack on his players, threatening to drop them all in favour of Chelsea’s kids if they continue to underperform and following a lacklustre performance in a 2-2 draw at Newcastle last weekend, Mourinho decided to take a high risk when he went away to play Porto on Tuesday, September 29.

Mourinho opted against including the likes of Oscar, Hazard and Matic in the starting line-up of his squad to face Porto in midweek at the Estádio do Dragão, in a move which left many perplexed many.

The risk however failed to pay off as Chelsea went down 2-1 to their host.

It is believed Mourinho, 52, is on his hot seat at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho however made excuse for his players’ performance in Tuesday’s Champions League 2-1 loss to his former club, FC Porto.

But he had harsh words for his player after they escaped their 4^th defeat of the season at Newcastle with a late comeback to secure a 2-2 draw.

According to the Portuguese International, his team’s first half display at St James’ Park was one of the worst he’s ever witnessed as a coach.
