Former Minister of Culture and Tourism under the Olusegun Obasanjo administration, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has distanced himself from the wedding ceremony of his daughter.
The daughter (name withheld) is scheduled to tie the knot on Sunday in Lagos.

Fani-Kayode revealed this during his interview with journalist after being discharged and acquitted by the Lagos High Court on the case filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He said, “I won’t attend the wedding, am not aware of it and I did not give my approval”
The bride to be is a daughter to Fani-Kayode’s first wife, Yemisi Wada, who is a daughter to the former governor of old Kwara State, Adamu Attah.

Efforts to contact the mother of the bride by journalist fell short as her GSM line were never answered.
Femi Fani-Kayode’s family lineage originates from Osun, he was born to Chief Victor Babaremilekun Adetokunboh Fani-Kayode and to Chief (Mrs) Adia Adunni Fani-Kayode.
