The 55th Independence Day Celebration is currently on-going at the Presidential Villa.
President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara are all present.
As at the time this report was prepared, the Ceremonial Change of Guards was been observed, likewise the 21 gunshots to honour President Buhari.
President Buhari has also signed the anniversary registrar.
