Some National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in Daura local government area visited President Muhammadu Buhari’s residence to pay Salah homage to him.

NAN reports that the president while addressing to the corps members said that NYSC is still a true tool of enhancing unity and peace among Nigerians.
Buhari donated N250,000 and 10 rams to the corpers to celebrate the Eid el-Kabir.

Nigerian leader added that the scheme was a chance for them to understand the culture of their host communities by cooperating with them.
He advised the corps members to put more labors toward discharging their primary duties.
President Buhari assured them that his administration would do everything possible to improve the scheme and promote the corps members’ morale to ensure effective service delivery.
The president praised the NYSC members for contributing their quota to the nation building.

President Buhari has visited his home state where he slaughtered his ram after the prayer at the Eid ground.
Nigerian leader is currently in New York for the 70th United Nations General Assembly.
