The annual Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu-Ode, was as usual rich in colours and cultural displays as the people of the famous town ensured visitors enjoyed every bit of their culture, processions and acrobatic displays.
The festival which is held two days after the Eid-El-Kabir festive period is mainly for the people of Ijebu town to come together as one to honour their traditional ruler, Oba Sikiru Adetona.
The festival is reputed to be one of the biggest of its kind in West Africa as Ijebu indigenes and visitors from all over the world join in the celebrations every year.
