Interesting! Asisat Oshoala Has This To Say About Her Injury.

Super Falcons and Liverpool ladies striker, Asisat Oshoala has said she is getting better after she got injured two months ago.

Oshoala told naij.com sports that she will soon get back to action when asked how she is coping with a knee injury she picked against Notts County two months ago, she said “Yes I am good and better.”


Recall that, she was ruled out of action for eight weeks, however, the date expired yesterday, and she is due to be back to action for his English team anytime from now. Oshoala also missed out of the just concluded all African games which took place in Congo Brazaville.


The 20 year old former Rivers Angels player has scored three goals in seven appearances for his team in the English Women Super League.


Liverpool ladies coach, Matt Beard told thefa.com that the injury blow on the team is an opening for young players to prove themselves.


“They’re important players to us but it’s going to give maybe one or two of the younger players an opportunity, we’ll do as much as we can, while we’re still involved in everything mathematically, to finish as high as we can.” he said


Oshoala was recently selected by Liverpool Ladies FC to be part of a campaign tagged ‘ThisGirlsGoal’. The club’s official website stated that the campaign is initiated and designed to create and facilitate a conversation about the challenges faced by adolescent girls around the world.


She is the current BBC Women footballer of the year, African woman footballer of the year and the African Youth player of the year.
