The cleric said: “Nobody can Islamise Nigeria. Presidents will come and go and Nigeria will remain. They say Buhari has come to Islamise this country but I tell people that it is not true. He has come to rule for four years or eight years, and he will leave and Nigeria continues.”

He asked Christians in the country to spread the gospel across the length and breadth of Nigeria without fears, saying “all nations belong to the Lord.”

Anyimson clarified that the church project was meant at multiplying the membership of the church in the country for the next 10 years through aggressive evangelism.

There have been fears that Buhari would Islamise Nigeria if he wins the last presidential election.

The APC has however dismissed such insinuations saying it is impossible for Buhari, to turn Nigeria into an Islamic nation if he becomes the country’s leader.
