The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II reportedly got married to Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa, the 18-year-old daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo-Musdafa.
The wedding fatiha held inside the Lamido’s Yola palace minutes after Jumma’at prayer.
Sanusi already has three wives, Sadiya, the daughter of Ado Bayero who is the late emir of Kano, Maryam and Rakiya.
The Emir of Kano is presently in Saudi Arabia where he is acting as the leader of Nigeria’s delegation to this year’s Hajj.

He was said to have been represented by the Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Some months back, rumours of Sanusi’s marriage to the teenage girl had surfaced but it was debunked.
