Reports reaching us have it that three villages have been attacked and over 60 houses have been destroyed in a fresh attack by members of the Boko Haram sect.
According to This Day, the villages attacked by the terrorists include; Sabon Gari, Kafin Hausa and Dutse biyu in Madagali local government area of the state, while valuable properties were destroyed in the affected villages alongside the houses.

Sources disclosed that the insurgents attacked the villages while trying to escape from the Nigerian troops who were pursuing them out of Borno state.
Gwoza town of Borno state, a stronghold of the Boko Haram insurgency, and Madagali share the same border, hence the incursion of the terrorists into the village as mentioned above.
The villagers were said to have fled on sighting the Boko Haram members as they invaded their villages in hundreds.
Recall that the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, earlier today, revealed why the Nigerian Military have been winning against the insurgents, as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), also backed the troops to wipe out the insurgents before the end of this year.
