Former Super Eagles striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, says if he can score fifteen goals this seson, he can help his new club Kayserispor remain in the top division of the Turkish Super Lig.

Aiyegbeni, who was a free agent after his contract with Reading expired expressed joy at the way the club personnel welcomed him.
He told the club’s officiaal website: “The players, coach and the president treated me so well with open arms. I want to thank them for the great reception.

“I want to score goals to help my team achieve success. As a striker I will do my best to score goals. I think I will get over 15 goals. My aim is to help the team stay in the league.”
The Yak signed for his new club on Saturday, August 29, penning a one-year deal.
The club said signing the former Super Eagles striker will enable the team to benefit from “The Yak’s vast experience after spending years playing in Portugal, England, China and Qatar”.
