Lagos based female fertility counselor, Grace has taken a bold step in fighting for pregnant women and nursing mothers who were recently banned by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), from serving their country.

Grace disclosed that when NYSC was set up, they did not state that if you have a child or you are pregnant, you cannot serve.

She added that, she believes it is their right to serve so they should not use their present status as an excuse. But believes that, they can allow them serve in the state or town where their husbands are based.
Grace got married but was unable to conceive for seven years before she was blessed with a child.
Meanwhile, the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi has dismissed earlier reports of the NYSC banning pregnant women and nursing mothers from enrolling or orientation camps.
