Do You Abuse The Rights Of Your Child? READ THIS!

A Lagos-based female fertility counselor, Grace Ewerem has a message for anyone who abuses the right of a child by maltreating such child.

Grace in a recent interview with Naij.com condemned the act of child abuse and strictly warns all culprits to desist from such act.

I waited for seven years before I could conceive, while coming back from work when I see children in the dark playing and I say it in my mind that God look at children that their parents don’t even know where they are.

Do you know what it means to go to a fertility clinic? You’ll spend so much, your time, they’ll tell you this medicine you’re to take it 7:30 and that’s the way it must be. If one goes through such you will take care of the children.

Since they got pregnant easily they can treat the children anyhow. Another thing when I had my first child and the nurses brought her I cried because I was able to understand what women go through and I found myself saying can my mother come back so that I can apologise for being stubborn.

So some of those people don’t know what it takes to have a child.

The Child’s Rights Act 2003 defines a child as a person who has not attained the age of 18. Meaning that any person from zero-year old to 17 years old is a child while a person 18 years and above is an adult.
