The Department of State Service foils the plan by Boko Haram militants to bomb the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport using a fourteen-old boy.

DSS officials informed the general public about foiled attempt by Boko Haram members to bomb Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport in Abuja.

In an official statement DSS told that Boko Haram members used a fourteen-year old boy to gather information inside the airport including boarding procedures and passengers’ movement inside the departure and arrival halls.
The boy, whose name is Sulaiymon Abdulraman, from Kogi state, was arrested inside the airport. The boy claimed that he had been led on by his criminal companion – Dauda Sadiq also known as Peter. This person is still at large.

The DSS conducts further investigation on this case in association with the Aviation security department to prevent any possible acts of terror in the future.
Yesterday Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has promised Nigerians the army will meet meet the deadline given by President Muhammadu Buhari for crushing the Boko Haram insurgency.
