Warning: ‘Be Alert This Ramadan’ – Police

The Lagos State police command has taken proactive measures to protect lives and property during the Ramadan festivity.


The Command Spokesperson, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, stated this on Friday. He revealed that the command has deployed both plain clothes policemen and other detectives to ensure a smooth Ramadan.


He said: “With about 9 days to the end of the fasting period that will usher in the Ramadan festivities, it is important that the Lagos State police command draw attention of all residents to the need to be security conscious.

“The State command has emplaced a very proactive and responsive security template to ensure that the celebrations are hitch-free. However, we urge all residents to be at alert at all times and report any suspicious persons, their activities and happenings in their areas to us through the following GSM numbers”.
