The senator in a statement on Friday by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, said that Ekweremadu should not play partisan politics with the return of Boko Haram attacks recently.

Adeola has described Ekweremadu’s comparison on the return of Boko Haram attacks as a partisan mindset of one playing politics with  insurgency.

“I believe his comparison of recent attacks under Buhari with that of outgone Peoples Democratic Party administration is informed by partisan considerations of exonerating the PDP from the mess left behind by 16 years of PDP rule,”  he said.

The senator also noted that, what is key on the minds of all Nigerians now is how to put an end to the insurgency permanently which isn’t going to be an overnight assignment.

He added that President Muhammadu Buhari and the security agencies were already working out strategies to cub the focus of Boko Haram attacks.

Senator Adeola said Boko Haram resorted into bombing when it was obvious  that the military had weakened them in the battle field where they had territorial control.

Meanwhile former Akwa Ibom state Governor,  Godswill Akpabio, has described the emergence of Senator Ike Ekweremadu as a blessing to the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
