Saraki Fires Back At Online Platforms Over Incessant Allegations

The Senate president Bukola Saraki, has vowed to deliver on his mandate in making sound legislation despite incessant allegations levied against him.


According to him, his directive to implement thorough legislation that will impact the lives of Nigerians cannot be disrupted by the activities of some undisclosed online platforms which he accused of being sponsored by mischief makers.


Saraki, made the remarks on his Twitter handle in reaction to activities of some undisclosed online platforms which he accused of posting all sorts of negative lies against him.

He noted that the lies sponsored against his person will not change his focus.

In the space of one month, Saraki has come under incessant attacks from online platform for fraudulent allegations with the most identified being Sahara Reporters.


According to Sahara Reporters, it received an exclusive documents of a police investigation detailing how Saraki, during his tenure as Kwara state governor used several shell companies, including Skyview Properties Ltd., Limkers Ltd., Dicetrade Ltd., Carlisle Properties and Investment Ltd., and Joy Petroleum to make a series of questionable deposits and illegal withdrawals from banks.


The media outfit also presented a photo copy of UK passport allegedly belonging to Saraki.


In another document discovered by Sahara Reporters, it was alleged that Saraki once played a role in the bankruptcy that rocked Societe Generale Bank of Nigeria (SGBN).
