Olufemi Olu-Kayode
The former minister of aviation decided to change his name to celebrate his acquittal of charges of corruption after seven years of trial.
Olukayode in Yoruba language means: “The Lord has brought me joy.”
Glad to see that military checkpoints are being returned and that BH suspects have been removed from eastern prisons. Kudos to our govt.

Olu-Kayode was aquitted when Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, ruled that the case against FFK was “feeble” and failed to provide “copious evidence” linking the former minister to money laundering.
Olu-Kayode’s trial began in 2008, was instituted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for allegedly laundering totaling about N100 million while he was minister of culture and tourism and subsequently, aviation minister.
