Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday, June 26, said the present administration was committed to fighting corruption.

The vice president made this known in Lagos at the 3rd Annual Christopher Kolade Lecture On Business Integrity.
Osinbajo, who spoke on the topic, “Beyond Compliance: Imbibing A Culture of Business Integrity”, explained that integrity was the key to success, adding that if it is not developed with behaviours over time, it would be impossible to adopt when it involves business.

“Integrity must reflect in behaviour, it is an accepted standard,” he said.
The VP also said the fight against corruption was the duty of all Nigerians and that the vision of the present administration was to give meaning to the lives of all citizens.
Premium Times reports that Mr Christopher Kolade, in his own remarks talked about how the culture of corruption was eating into Nigerian system and how the people have almost resigned to it.

“If we look at our society today, we have almost resigned to corruption. The world would be a better place if everyman can stand for integrity. Integrity is something that is meant to be natural to human being but with the situation of the country it is hard to practise integrity,” he said.
