International Reggae Artiste Kidnapped In Nigeria

Victor Essiet of the Mandators Fame, an international reggae artiste of Nigerian origin, was kidnapped.


According to Vanguard, the incident happened around 3am, on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Unknown people abducted the artiste in Nsit Ubiom area of Akwa Ibom state. They have not made any demands at the time of filing the present report.

Victor was returning from the Akwa Ibom capital, Uyo, where he attended the wake-keep of his late elder brother, Tony Essiet. Tony died last month after a bad fall in the bathroom of the hotel where he lodged.
